Challenging kids to:

Pursue God
Kids Pursue: How will your kids seek God?

The Pursue God step in the process goes in the Sunday morning worship slot (10:45 am).  We want this to match the type of environment the adults experience in their worship service.  It's here that the kids will be faced weekly with Biblical truth in a challenging way on their age level with application that's relevant for where they are in life.  We change the teaching topic every 4-8 weeks but we stay with it long enough for the kids to work Christian truths and practices into their lives.  We even do a Call To Adventure (altar call) to give them a chance to sit and think about the lesson for a few minutes before they run off.

This is our biggest event of the week and hopefully the best hour of the kid's week!  We have a thematically designed stage (modeled after Johnson Space Center's Mission Control Center) built in the gym, for the kids, and partly by the kids.  The program includes tons of multi-media, a live band and worship that the kids help to lead and support, a puppet mascot, and human video (led by the kids) which is nothing more than full-body movements that go along with most of the music.  Over the hour and a quarter, there will be around ten transitions to help keep the kids attention.  We keep the program moving right along.  It will be over before they know it!
